WOW THIS WILL BE THE SHOT HEARD ROUND THE WORLD

Things are poppin in the political world.  Hold onto your hat folks.

Dede Scozzafava just suspended her race in the NY State  23rd district making Conservative Party candidate a virtual shoo in for the Congressional seed beating out the Democrat.  If Christie can keep his slim lead against Corzine in NJ and with McConnell in VA a hands down winner in that state I firmly believe this will be the shot heard round the world and definitely is a shot across the bow of both main parties in the nation.

How many times have we heard ow those crazy right wing nut job Tea Partiers and 912ers.  They will get tired they won't stand up to the power of the major parties.

Well boys and girls I think both parties are about to get a very rude awakening.  2010 is IMHO going to be a very very interesting election year.

Newt Gingrich as far as I am concerned signed his political death certificate with his statements against the Conservative Party candidate and his backing of loser Scozzafava.

Even Michael Steele has seen the light "sort of".although he had to be dragged kicking and screaming to the party.  He has no said that in 2010 he will back Doug Hoffman for Congress in the General election.  Good thing Michael because you will be left in the dust if you don't.  The NY State RNC also stepped up to the plate 2 days ago and put their backing behind Hoffman.

What will be interesting to watch is what the Obama administration has to say about these events after the election results are out on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.

RINO Mike Nofs (R) has been endorsed by SEIU which should wake up the people of MI that they are going to have to Primary this guy in the mid term elections next year..

Keep Your Friends Close And Your Enemies Closer

What the DCCC is sending out on a daily basis.  I signed up for the daily DCCC newsletter and though you might like to see and example of what they are sending out everyday to their followers.  Below is a prefect example of the vitriol being spread.  However I do believe this shows  just how terrified and desperate they Dems have become.

Remember all those socialist-hollering, Glenn Beck-worshiping, tea party wing nuts from this summer's town hall meetings? If Sarah Palin gets her way, one of them could soon be a member of Congress.

Next week marks one year since President Obama was elected. The amount of money we have in the bank will be used as an instant referendum on his first year.

With Sarah Palin out there raising hundreds of thousands of dollars to stack Congress with those tea party lunatics, the media is watching to see how Grassroots Democrats respond.

Help us raise $500,000 in response to Sarah Palin's fundraising for the tea party nut jobs. For every dollar you give before Midnight Tuesday, a group of Democrats will match it with $2 of their own, tripling your impact.
Combat the 'Palin Effect'

Tuesday night's deadline is a critical test of our muscle.

I've been getting calls all week from media pundits asking me if Palin's fundraising means that all those tea partying members of the right-wing fringe finally have the upper hand in their fight to bring back the George Bush days of disaster.

I need you to help us respond in the strongest possible terms.

Help us raise $500,000 in response to Sarah Palin's fundraising for the tea party nut jobs. For every dollar you give before Midnight Tuesday, a group of Democrats will match it with $2 of their own, tripling your impact.

Send a message to Sarah Palin and those tea party nutcases who think they can retake Congress. But we only have until Midnight Tuesday to act.

Thanks,

James Carville

7 Lies in 2 Minutes.

This is just a small sample of the lies told and promises not kept by Mr O.  I have come to the conclusion that they way you can tell if he is lying is to watch his lips.  If they are moving he is lying.

The 1990 Page House Health Care Bill Released Today

I decided to make this a 2 blog day today because of the importance of this subject.

Feel free to share this blog with your friends, neighbors and Family.

http://docs.house.gov/rules/health/111_ahcaa.pdf

I certainly hope you don't have any good plans for the weekend. This thing is a real boondoggle. Rush is reading parts of it for his audience. If you think the last one was a mess wait till you get into this one.

Senate will not allow Resistnet or Grassfire.org to deliver the health care petitions to Senators

Senate refuses to accept petitions presented by citizens to ask for redress from their government. This is an outrage. We have lost our Constitutional right of redress. These people followed all the rules and were stopped. These buildings belong to the people.

Are They Nuts?

Today I am so livid I can barely form the words needed for this blog. I received my copy of the Capitol Confidential today.

How does this strike you for earmarks.

1. Lobster for dogs
2. Museum for Mules
3. 1.9 million for the Charles B Rangel Center for Public Service at City College of New York.
4. Kansas Regional Prisons Museum
5. Perfect Christmas Tree Project. (what ever the hell that is)

These proposals were all voted on in the House and were not put before the Senate. Some of these votes were prior to January 2009 and therefore some of the people who voted on these earmarks are no longer in office. However I feel it important to show just how our so called conservative Republicans have voted in the past and how we can expect them to vote in the future unless we let them know in no uncertain terms NO MORE WE WON'T STAND FOR ANYMORE WASTE OF THIS TYPE.

1. Lobster for dogs. This is an earmark to the Lobster Institute for Better Dog Food of Maine for $188,000 to do research, production and marketing. Now granted in the grand scheme of things concerning our budget this amount of money isn't even a tear in the ocean. But that is not the point. The point is it is just wrong no matter how you look at it.

Can you afford to eat Lobster? I know I sure can't and it is my all time favorite food and yet our Congress critters think dogs should have lobster biscuits.

Who of our Cogress people from Michigan voted for this?
Everyone of them both Republicans and Democrats. Knollenberg and Walberg both (R) voted out in November 08.

2. National Museum for Mule and Packers in Bishop CA.

$55,000 is a pitance how ever this will benefit only the 30,000 people and 700 Mules drawn to the annual "Mule Days" celebration in Bishop. The only Congressman to vote against this one was Walberg. Conyers didn't vote on this one. The rest of our MI Congressman voted for it.

3. Charles B Rangel Center. Guess who asked for this one. Yup none other than Mr. Charles B Rangel himself. He wants money to basically establish a monument to himself. Anyone surprised since Charlie is his own biggest fan. The figure on this fiasco would be 1.9 million.

Who from Michigan voted against it?
Vern Ehlers (R) Pete Hoekstra (R) Mike Rogers (R) Tim Walberg (R) All the rest voted for it including Republicans Knollenberg (Now gone) Fred Upton, Thad McCotter, Dave Camp, Candice Miller.

4. Kansas Regional Prisons Museum. This was worth 1.18 million of your taxpayer dollars. Michigan Congressman voting against it were Hoekstra
Camp, Upton, and Walberg. All the rest both Republican and Democrat voted for it.

5. Perfect Christmas Tree Project. This one in fact was the only one of the 5 that were killed. But these are the Michigan Congressman who voted to keep it.

Conyers. Hoekstra, KIldee, Knollenberg, Sander Levin and Thad McCotter.

The man who lead the fight against each of these outrageous earmarks was Jeff Flake (R) of Arizona. For his hard work he was removed from the Judiciary Committee for his "bad behavior" for leading this fight against waste of your tax dollars.

These votes were all in the 2007/2008 session, however if you think things have changed in D.C think again. The earmarks above are all very small potatoes but if you add up all of the small potatoes and there are thousands of them every year it adds up to millions and billions of waste and abuse of the power these men and women are given by us the American voter.

You as a voter had better wake up and look at ever vote your Congressman or Senator makes in his/her job in D.C because they are voting all of us into the pour house and it is not for our good. It is so they can maintain the power of their office.

FBI says Watch Glenn Beck and listen to Talk Radio.

What more can I say. This tells it all. I really believe this is the only time Rush has ever been speechless.

You have to love it. But I am guessing the guys and gals at the LA FBI office are going to take a ration of shit over this one.

One of your professional State Representatives who doesn't like when taxpayers contact him and express their honest views of his proposed tax hikes.

This guy is priceless.

I have to thank former State Representative Jack Hoogendyke for sending me this beauty.

Should you want to contact Representative Cushingberry and give him your opinion of his behavior and how what he does effects everyone in Michingan not just people in his district. If he wants to tax the people in his district I don't really care that is between him and them but when it comes to me that is a different story. I would rather he live with in his means like us common folk have to.

Why MSM Fringe Media Ratings Suck

This video is a fine example of why the left media has such low ratings. They try to say they are not biased. Please someone Tell me is this a debate or out right vilification and personal attacks typical of biased left wing media. And they swear they are not biased. The WH says they aren't biased just telling the truth.

No wonder her ratings suck next to Fox News Channel.

On Our Rights and Our Elected Officials

This blog was borrowed from a fellow 912er, David Kellet who gave me permission to post it here.

In the past we have elected candidates based on the promises of what they would give us. Not all of us perhaps, but enough. We have seen the dichotomy of “What are you going to do for me?” run our political arena. We seem to have forgotten about the simple need of service.
Our elected officials are there to serve the will of the people. Our responsibility is to serve others while taking care of our families and ourselves. Charity comes from within us not from an overburdened government.

Now is the time to remember that we are born of a self sufficient heritage. We need to become like our fore fathers and become what they would want us to be. We need to be allowed to be self sufficient and accountable to ourselves and our elected leaders need to be something completely different than what they have been in our recent past.
We must, and we shall, elect principled leaders who have the strength of character and the intestinal fortitude to tell the American people, “No.” We need men who are not only willing to go to Washington to stop what is going on, but are willing to undo what has been done. We need men and women who are willing to repeal the crippling acts of the past and restore the America that our fore fathers created.

What I am saying is that now is the time for our elected officials to turn back the clock and remember that the Federal government is not a charitable organization. We need to remove the largess that has been the cause of so much denigration within the American family. We need to stop the expansion of the welfare state and turn it back to one that does not regulate, does not give to the poor, and does not remove the need for a father in the home providing for his own children.

We need to call on our elected officials to remove the barriers to wealth creation by taking away the charity that our people have become so accustomed to of late. We need to remove the ideal that everything we receive is a right.

I have no right to take from any man that which he has earned by the sweat of his brow. I have no right to go to my neighbor, reach into his pocket, and proclaim that it is only fair. If I do not have this right then neither does the Federal government. I cannot compel a man to give and it is not correct that the Federal government should do so either.

It is my responsibility, that should I see a brother in need, to give of what I have, if I have it by me, to him. It is my responsibility to look to the well being of my own family and not someone else’s. It is my responsibility to seek out those in need and help where I may if I have the means to do so. It is not the purview of the government to dictate to me who and how I shall support.
Some may say that this is too harsh. This is something that the government should do as they have so much money. Truth be known, the government has no money that they have not taken from someone else. They should have no more money than what they need to pay off the debts of the nation, provide for the defense of the nation, and regulate “free” commerce between the several states.

Anything else is largess. Anything else is theft. Anything else fails the principles upon which that glorious document inspired so long ago gives the government the right to do. Anything else robs Americans of the opportunities that they have sought after. It denies them the right, the privilege and the responsibility that they have to succeed or fail on their own. It denies us the right of being a free and independent people.

Lies, Earmarks And Corruption All In One Bill

Shaft the Troops and pass the Pork

If you didn't believe the legislators and this administration don't care about our troops before you should be convinced by now. A total of 2.6 billion of the funding was diverted for pet projects.

The Senate cut funding in the Pentagon budget and are going to use 2.6 billion for pet projects such as 20 million to build an education institute to be named after the late Senator Ted Kennedy and 25 million for a WWII war museum at the University of New Orleans.

A total of 778 of these pet projects are hidden inside of this funding bill. A total of 4 billion was cut from the appropriation bill while most of the 2.6 billion for their pork barrel projects came from Operations and management which pays for training, food, repairs weapons, ammunition and equipment for our troops.

In this blogger's opinion this is tantamount to treason committed by our elected officials.

If I remember right I believe Mr. Bush (who by the way is not one of my favorite people) was excoriated for not assuring our troops had proper safety equipment and other supplies need in the theater of war.

All of a sudden this is Ok as long as the Democrats are doing it in the name of ending the war.

With what this administration is doing to our troops and not doing for our men and women in the military mark my words there will be far more full body bags coming home from Iraq and Afghanistan.

This administration is seen as weak by the terrorists in Iran Iraq and Afghanistan as well as North Korea, China and Russia.

N0vember 2010 can't come fast enough for this writer. I only hope the far too complacent voting public will finally wake up and throw the bums out of D.C and find candidates who are willing to stand up for this nation and once again not only uphold our great Constitution but demand it be followed to the letter.

Are You Sure It is Republicans Who Want to Kill Seniors?

Congressman Allen Grayson of Florida thought is was a great idea to get up on the floor of the House recently and expound on how Republicans want you to die quickly if you get sick.

Then I discovered a video by high ranking Democrat Robert Reich that seems to explain that it is actually the Democrats who want seniors go die rather than give them health care.

Does this mean after you have worked all those years, faithfully paid your taxes to the government so they can throw it down a rat hole with abandon that when you retire you aren't needed anymore so you should just plan on dying if you should have the audacity to get sick?

Don't look for your Medicare to pay for your medications because it is going to cost too much so just die and get out of the way.

Watch the videos below and make up your own mind.
